Children’s Society Boxes - Thank you to everyone who has helped raise money again this year with the money boxes for the Children’s Society.  The Uley Box Collection through St Giles’ Church has raised a fantastic £460. 66p over the year.  Thank you also to Mary Shearer for co-ordinating it.

HMP Eastwood Park runs a Volunteer Prison Visiting Scheme. Would you like to join their team of currently 18 official prison visitors and help shorten the long waiting list of prisoners who have requested this support?  Prison Visitors are supported by the chaplaincy staff. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact Beryl De Stone or Tony Williams for preliminary visit.  Or ring 01454 382105 and leave a message with your contact details.

The Ark  is a monthly service especially for under 5s, mums, dads & carers.  We meet between 2pm-3pm on the third Monday of each month in St Giles Church. We come together to share our news, to hear a story, to pray and to sing a couple of action songs.  After our short time of worship we move to the St Giles Room for tea and homemade cakes - a lovely time for the children to play together and for the grown ups to get to know each other.

The Cherish the Churchyard team meet on the last Saturday of every month from 9.00-11.00. Grateful thanks to John Wood and Mike Shipton the regular helpers but please just turn up if you can help.
