We are a very friendly parish and you will receive a warm welcome in each of our three churches. If you are new to the Church of England, we are always glad to see you and help you with a welcome and support.
We reflect the unconditional love Christ showed to us by being a caring and inclusive church. We believe the circle of God’s love is incomplete without our children and we welcome them to our services. There are specially prepared activities for children which are available during the service.
The Eucharist is the focus for our worship and services are taken mainly from Common Worship.
Parish Holy Communion at St Giles’ is at 10.00am and the form of worship is usually Common Worship. Services last just over an hour with time for fellowship and refreshments after the service.
On the first Sunday of the month Holy Communion (CW) is celebrated at St Bartholomew's Church at 8.30am. At St Giles' we have a Family Holy Communion Service at 10.00am, with more emphasis on the needs of families with children. We hold other family services and special services for families and children during the year.
When there is a Fifth Sunday in the month Parish Holy Communion is from the BCP and sung to a setting by Merbecke.
Sung Evensong from the BCP is held at 6pm at Holy Cross Church Owlpen during the summer months.
